The Hotel was originally built as a manor House for the Lancastrian Topping and Mellors families, built in 1900. The Barton Wedding Suite is spacious and comfortable and can accommodate 150 guests for the ceremony and wedding breakfast and up to 250 in the evening.The long row of windows along one side of the Barton Suite ensure there is enough light for photographs of the ceremony without having to use flash and there is a delightful ‘Secret Garden’ at the back of the hotel which is perfect for portraits of the bride and groom.
