Even though St Peter’s Church is not the easiest church to photograph a wedding in (it has a very narrow aisle and the front pews are very close to the chancel step, both of which make it a challenge to get a clear photograph of the couple as they exchange their vows), it cannot be denied that this is an absolute gem of a church. Once outside, the church provides a fascinating and beautiful backdrop for the photographs.

There has been a church on this site since the 7^th Century and the current building dates from around 1340. It has been added to and altered over the centuries and is now Grade 1 listed.

The vicar at St Peter’s is approachable and has a way of making everyone feel both included and relaxed. I’m always pleased to be asked to photograph a wedding at St Peter’s and I look forward to working there in the future.
